Landscape Value An interesting plant to use as a foliage accent. Leaves are round and stem-like, forming a hedgehog mound in a handsome shade of steely blue-grey. A good choice for beside a pond or stream, as a marginal water garden plant or in any damp sunny area.. Flowers are brownish and insignificant. Although evergreen, plants may require a hard trim back in spring to tidy up the appearance. Clumps may be easily divided in spring or early fall. Possibly a cultivar of Juncus patens. |
