Landscape Value
An evergreen shrub with small rounded leaves of golden yellow, this forms a dense mound and responds well to clipping. Color is best in full sun, turning more of a chartreuse shade during the summer. Tiny creamy white flowers appear in early summer. Nice as a specimen shrub and also suitable for a low hedge. For hedging, space plants about 12 to 18 inches apart. Trim at any time. Plants are easily kept to a small size. Said to be tolerant of seaside conditions. Evergreen in mild winter regions but after hard winters some browning by spring might be evident.
